Leading independent estate agents Richmonds Property Services was formed by the three directors Nathan McCathie, Kevin Crowney and Tony Pilcher in 2006, drawing together their combined estate agency experience of more than forty years. They continue to work at the forefront of the business on a daily basis. They are backed up by a cohesive, hand-picked team with a proven track record which results in multiple benefits to buyers and sellers. Nathan McCathie

Nathan McCathie has solid experience of the industry coupled with the commitment and enthusiasm necessary for the estate agency professional in today’s demanding market.

Nathan began his career in the 1990’s and has built up an impressive record of achievements during his time with well-regarded local companies. While working with a leading agency network in Southampton, Nathan was given the opportunity to take over a low performing district; within 18 months he had more than tripled the number of homes sold in that area and became market leader.

In 2005 Nathan achieved a record number of 
sales for the area he was directing, receiving various accolades along the way. Nathan grew up 
in Hedge End.

Tony Pilcher

Tony started his career in the property market in the early 1990’s working for a successful independent estate agent working in the Southampton area. After helping start Lindesay’s Estate Agents in Eastleigh, Tony took up the position of senior area director for General Accident where he became their top consultant for the south during his time there. Tony’s last position, for General Accident, was to become an area sales manager for the newly branded Your Move.

Kevin Crowney

Kevin Crowney started his career with a national chain of estate agents and soon became a senior member of the team. Kevin furthered his knowledge of the property market and in 1999 was headhunted by a well regarded independent estate agency due to his reputation as an honest hardworking individual.

During 2000 Kevin won the coveted award of “Negotiator of the Year” and was subsequently promoted to assistant manager. Kevin went on to win assistant manager and valuation manager of the year and most importantly “Employee of the Year” award.

Due to Kevin’s success he was promoted to a branch manager; his office produced record results and was given the prestigious award of “Customer Service Branch of the Year”

Consistent high performance helped Kevin secure a new role of senior branch manager in 2004 at a flagship branch. He continued to exceed sales targets whilst providing high customer service levels.

Patrick Slattery

Patrick started his career in the late 1990s for a large corporate estate agency network. Within a short period of time Patrick progressed to a fully experienced senior negotiator.

Patrick’s drive and ambition was easily recognisable, and he was then promoted to valuations manager. Patrick provided an excellent customer service to buyers and sellers alike and became one of the most successful estate agents in the southern region.

Patrick has continued to successfully sell properties within the local area and has received various accolades along the way. He has known Nathan, Kevin and Tony on a professional basis for many years and is delighted to be working with them again at Richmonds

The Directors of the business, are thrilled to have a person of Patrick’s ability, stature and professionalism at Richmonds. Patrick has joined as a senior member of the team which demonstrates their faith in his experience and ability.

Becky Eales

Becky has been known personally by the directors for many years. She was part of the initial team when Richmonds opened its doors in September 2006.

Her vast IT knowledge and excellent communication skills have assisted Richmonds with a very efficient administrative department where most of Richmonds marketing, design and presentation have come from Becky and Liz Watts.

Having two administrators means Richmonds have cover not only Monday to Friday but also on weekends.

Liz Watts

Liz has been known personally by the directors for many years. Due to the rapid success of Richmonds after they opened their doors in September 2006, Liz was recruited in April 2007 
to assist with the heavy flow of administrative duties.

Her vast IT knowledge and excellent communication skills have assisted Richmonds with a very efficient administrative department where most of Richmonds marketing, design and presentation have come from Liz and Becky Eales.

Having two administrators means Richmonds have cover not only Monday to Friday but also on weekends.

Cherry Slattery

Cherry effectively manages the day to day property management on residential lettings and is a key member within the Mortgage department. Cherry is based in the first floor office and is also responsible for our property inspections on our fully managed lets.
As well as the responsibility of her job role Cherry is a mum to her son Joseph. Cherry is also the sister of Patrick and Tony.

Glen Crump

Richmonds is proud of their latest appointment helping to strengthen the company and team. Glen Crump first started his career back in the early 90’s as a trainee negotiator for a big national estate agents in Southampton.

He then went on and worked for various co-operative Estate Agents winning several awards as top introducer for mortgage referrals until he was headhunted by a newly formed Independent Estate Agents in Southampton.

In early 2001 Glen helped open an office for the Independent Agents in Shirley Road, Southampton, they quickly became market leader and grew from strength to strength.

In late 2002 Glen decided to have a break from the english property market and went with his family to pursue a career as a Real Estate Manager under the sun in Spain.

In early 2005 Glen and his family returned to the UK and he moved straight into a vacancy as a Senior Property Acquisitions Buyer. He was in charge of purchasing all types of property and land investments for clients in the UK and abroad.

Glen has a wealth of property and land knowledge available to Richmonds Property Services and is pleased to be working for a leading market agent that offers a transparent service, getting back to the traditional basics of estate agency.

See the results… Richmonds Independent Estate Agents continue to grow their market share in the Hedge End and Grange Park areas. Officially they have more sold signs than any other agent. The customers are more than happy too!
